Work Incventives Seminar Event – Houston

Houston Center for Independent Living is hosting a Work Incentives Seminar
Event (WISE) in Houston on October 14, 2009. It will be held at the
Metropolitan Multi-Service Center at 1475 W. Gray from 9-11 AM. The purpose
of this event is provide information to Social Security Disability Insurance
(SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries about exploring
their work options.

Many receiving Social Security benefits are interested in returning to or
going to work for the first time but are not sure about how to get started.
The WISE Event provides answers. In addition, we will have Employment
Networks available who will explain how their services make going to work
easier for them. The attached flyer (see below) is being used to advertise this
important event. We would be most grateful if you would include our flyer
in your e-mail listing as the Houston Center for Independent Living is
committed to providing assistance to our beneficiaries as they become
self-sufficient.

If you have any questions or desire additional information regarding our
