Healing Hands Ranch Open House & Benefit Concert
Healing Hands Ranch, the world’s first and only aftercare facility for deaf
ex-offenders is having its 2nd annual open house and benefit concert this
Saturday, November 14th. The open house is from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the
ranch in Willis, Texas and the benefit concert is from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at
The Light Community Fellowship in Willis, Texas.
You are invited to come out to one or both of our events this Saturday. The
benefit concert will be performed by Mark Mitchum, a Christian concert
artist using ‘Sign Art’ to convey music into ASL.

Open House: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The first event will be an open house of our aftercare facility, Healing
Hands Ranch, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. This will be a “come-and-go” event.
Feel free to come anytime between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM and stay as long as
you’d like. You will be given a personal tour of our grounds and the
opportunity to meet our residents. Healing Hands Ranch is the world’s first
and only facility of its kind, designed to help prepare Deaf ex-offenders
for successful re-entry into society.
If you’ve never visited Healing Hands Ranch, or if you’d like to come back
and visit us again, this is the best time for you to come and learn about
our facilities. We’re located 12 miles northeast of Conroe in the heart of
the Sam Houston National Forest. Our facilities consist of 27-acres with 8
permanent buildings. Come and see what we’re all about!

Benefit Concert: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Following our open house, we will be having a benefit concert featuring an
inspirational Christian concert artist, Mark Mitchum. Mark is well known
among the Deaf for his beautiful and inspiring rendition of christian music
through the use of ‘Sign Art’ — an artistic form of American Sign Language.
You do not need to know sign language to enjoy the beauty of Sign Art. All
music will be audible and you will be able to follow Mark’s expression of
music through his hands. It will be an awesome experience, don’t miss it!
The benefit concert will be held at The Light Community Fellowship in
Willis, Texas from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The Light is located off the I-45
southbound feeder road between Longstreet and FM 1097 in Willis, Texas.
