Call to the 50th Biennial NAD Conference

Bobbie Beth Scoggins, president of the National Association of the Deaf (NAD), issued a Call to the Conference. The 50th Biennial NAD Conference will be held at the Philadelphia Marriott (downtown), July 6-10, 2010 in the heart of America’s original capital, surrounded by rich revolutionary history and culture and located within eight blocks of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and many restaurants and stores.

Biennial NAD Conferences, held in the even numbered years, traditionally bring together more than 2,000 deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, deaf-blind and hearing consumers, parents, youth, professionals, educators, organizational and corporate representatives for professional development, enrichment, training, networking, governance meetings, exhibits, receptions and related evening events.

The theme of this year’s conference is, Celebrate Our Heritage. Invest in Our Future. Check out the schedule, find out who is going, learn about local attractions, and much more at: http://www.nad.org/philly
