I think his video should be an interesting educational tool. I have no idea if the video is a good one. BUT his explanation is not clearly. But be reminder that ASL should not be mixed with English. ASL is not English on the hands. It uses a different grammar system. Some people confuse ASL with “SEE”. Vocabulary is different, for example: Can you hear me? Where can I find a can of fruit? (in ASL*with upper eyebrows* ” ?HEAR ME YOU?”) (In ASL *with lower eyebrows* ” WHERE ME FIND FRUIT CAN WHERE?” ) See that? It is impossible for anyone to explain how the ASL “works” in English. If anyone tells us that would work then ask him/her if French language would works in English like ASL/English. If so, the meanings will become worthless. Actually, you can’t express the poem in English if it is Dutch poem because the meanings of expression won’t be noticed.
