ARTSNET Individual Grant Applications Available Now

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT – ARTSNET Individual Grant Applications Available
Now: Raise Art Awareness in North Tarrant County!

This is a unique opportunity for all artists and teachers, including artists
and teachers who are deaf and hard of hearing, to receive a grant to raise
art awareness and tap into the artistic talents of residents in 16 cities
served by ARTSNET.

“Our mission is to encourage, support and facilitate artistic cultural
opportunities within the communities of North Tarrant County,” said Cathy
Hernandez, President of ARTSNET. “We have granted over $1.2 million in
North Tarrant County in support of programs for at-risk youth, school
children, seniors, emerging arts groups, to name a few,” explained
Hernandez. “We want to bring a new and thriving art experience to our
residents who are deaf and hard of hearing or may have special needs. Our
Individual Grant Program is a way to do that.”

ARTSNET, once called the Trinity Arts Guild, is recognized by the Texas
Commission on the Arts as the official arts council of North Tarrant County
since 1997. Artists are not required to be residents of Tarrant County,
although that would be preferred. The 16 cities are located between the
Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. They include Bedford, Colleyville, Euless,
Grapevine, Haltom City, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills,
Richland Hills, Roanoke, Saginaw, Southlake, Trophy Club, Watauga and
Estlake. ARTSNET also serves seven school districts. They are Birdville,
Carroll, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw, Grapevine-Colleyville,
Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Keller and Northwest, including private and home
schools.
