New York State Unified Court System – Interpreter Wanted
BE A COURT INTERPRETER, DISCOVER THE OPPORTUNITIES
The New York State Unified Court System is seeking to expand its roster of
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters. Courts throughout the state have
part-time, full-time and freelance court interpreting opportunities for
individuals fluent in English and ASL. ASL interpreters are required to hold
professional certification by a recognized credentialing authority,
according to Section 390 of the Judiciary Law.
