Deaf Volunteers Needed In Haiti

Deaf Volunteers Needed In Haiti

We would like to encourage and invite the Deaf, hard of hearing and those
with sign language skills to join us April 17, 2010 for training in Little
Rock, Arkansas so we may put together teams to serve in Haiti. This is the
first to our knowledge where d/Deaf will be trained to serve in national and
international disasters. Join us as we go to Haiti to serve the deaf who
have suffered so much and are still in need. Our additional goal is to also
train the deaf so they can become trainers to the deaf. Spreading the idea
of service and ability through out the country.

You may be working with people from other churches throughout your area as
well as other areas in Arkansas and neighboring states.

Skills are optional. Willing hands are necessary. There will be work for
every person who is willing to participate.

This training is offered through United Methodist Church.

Contact Dee Mathes to sign up or ask for additional information.
