Volunteer Wanted at Deaf Nation Expo – DFW
DeafNation is next weekend, April 24, 2010 and is in need of volunteers from
the DFW Deaf Community!
Are you going to DeafNation? Great! Why not help out by volunteering while
you are there?
Volunteer any time between 8:30am to 4:30pm. You can work all day, half day,
or just an hour or two. Gather your friends and volunteer together.
* Registration Desk: (Fluent Signer) Enter into computer the name and email
address from people entering without pre-registration forms. We’ll need 4
people at the registration desk.
* Registration Desk: (Student) Collect registration forms, stamp hands, hand
out bags, smile and welcome.
* Front Doors: Direct the crowds coming in and out. Ask crowd who has
pre-registration and let them in the “fast” line. Direct those who have not
pre-registered to the registration line.
* Moonwalk/Bouncehouse: (Students/Signers) Keep an eye on the bounce house
in the kids’ area.
