Major focus areas may include observation, discovery, and identification of
the following “targets” within your renditions and performance:

* ASL syntax and related grammatical features incorporated and maintained
throughout renditions
* English syntax and related grammatical features incorporated and
maintained throughout renditions
* Expansion and Compression features of language incorporated appropriately
within renditions
* Building schema and context from missing, fragmented, or partial source
language discourse
* Semantic intent within a rendition at the lexical level and at the
discourse level.
* “Distractions” such as accent and regional dialect, poor audio,
poor/blurry video, interference within the background.
* Circumlocution, including Amphilogism and Euphemism
* Ambiguity and disambiguation
* Gender variances
* Expressive and Receptive fingerspelling
