Disability Support Specialist-Sign Language Job

Texas Health Resources, one of the largest faith-based nonprofit health care
delivery systems in the United States, has an immediate need for a
Disability Support Specialist.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Rehabilitation or Disability Studies, Behavioral sciences
or associated field

Sign Language Certification

3-5 years of proven experience in sign language interpretation, preferably
in academia or hospital environment

Current sign language interpretation experience in medical setting

Licensure/certification required: RID certified with CDI or NIC level or NAD
certification or Advanced or Master Level BEI certified.

Skills Required:

Bilingual or Multilingual verbal skills preferred

Experience in disability support service in academia or other industries

Good Interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of professionals
ranging from front-line staff to clinicians
