An Opportunity to Participate: Fort Worth City Council Meeting 9/14/10

An Opportunity to Participate: Fort Worth City Council Meeting, September
14, 2010, 7:00 PM

I have been asked to share my experiences as a Commissioner on the Fort
Worth Human Relations Commission during the next City Council meeting on
Tuesday, September 14 at 7:00 PM. Because I will be communicating in
American Sign Language with an Interpreter voicing for me, I will need more
time than the 3 minutes allowed for Citizen Presentations. To be allowed 10
minutes to speak, I will need to show that I am representing at least 10
people, who will need to stand when Mayor Mike Moncrief ask for
confirmation. Standing with others is also an opportunity to participate
in local government, and I offer this opportunity to you.

2nd Floor.
