Deaf Mission Team to Honduras

Information Meeting December 14, 2010

The Deaf Fellowship of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church invites Deaf and
friends of the Deaf to serve the Deaf in Honduras, June 21-July 1, 2011.

An eleven day trip, our mission group will serve at Happy Hands Christian
School for Deaf Children in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. We will lead Vacation
Bible School, construction work and community outreach. We will experience
Christian worship led by Deaf Hondurans. Included too are sightseeing
through rural areas, small towns and the Mayan ruins in Copan. Passport is
required. See your doctor for vaccination requirements. Cost is $1835,
which includes round trip airfare from DFW to Honduras, all in-country
transportation, lodging and meals. Group size is limited to 12. A
non-refundable deposit of $100 is due upon registering on this team, which
will be led by Rev. Tom Hudspeth, pastor of the Deaf at Lovers Lane and a
board member of New Life Deaf Ministry. Please email to [email protected]

An information meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 14th at 7pm in room
103/105 the Christ Family Center of Lovers Lane United Methodist Church.
Meet Andy Bugh, a missionary for Happy Hands Christian School and New Life
Deaf Ministry who will share more about this special ministry. Lovers Lane
