Communication Access and Empowerment for the D/HH – Waco

“Communication Access and Empowerment for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing” – Waco

If you don’t think that participating in this workshop would be fun and
beneficial, answer the questions below:

1) Have you gotten arrested and jailed without an interpreter?
2) Does a private doctor’s office have to employ at least 15 employees
before providing an interpreter or other auxiliary aid/service?
3) Does a Social Security office have to follow ADA?
4) Under the ADA, are employers required to pay for interpreters or other
auxiliary aid/service for their Deaf/hard of hearing employees?
5) Have you ever been confused about what ADA really says about who provides
an interpreter or other auxiliary aid/service?

If you answer “Yes” to at least one of the above questions, come to my
training to find out and to have fun learning. The training would empower
you to learn how to self-advocate as a Deaf or Hard of Hearing individual.
The training is scheduled and located at:
