The Best Created Hat Contest – DFW

THE BEST CREATED-HAT CONTEST!!!

Dallas Association of the Deaf is pleased to announce a special event which will be held on this coming Saturday, April 2nd for those who participate in the created-hat contest. There will be $50.00 for 1st place, $25.00 for 2nd place, and $15.00 for 3rd place. It will be based on 35 entries.

The location is 4215 Maple Ave., Dallas, Texas 75219.

DAD will be open at 7 p.m. and the hat contest will start at 8:30 p.m.

What you can do is to create any kind of hat and bring it to DAD for your contest.

DAD knows that there are many deaf talent individuals that can make hats so that the top three participants will win the prizes.

The desserts will be on sale.

Admission: $3.00 member and $6.00 for non-member.

Don’t forget Saturday, April 2, 2011. It will be fun-loving gathering!

The money DAD has raised is to proceed to the building improvement fund.
