ANTICIPATED TEACHER VACANCIES FOR 2011-12 SCHOOL YEAR
POSITION:
Special Teacher – Deaf/Hard of Hearing
Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies

DUTIES: Provide instruction to students so that they may progress
satisfactorily; prepare short and long-term goals and objectives for individual students
through the IEP process; participate in student staffings, behavior program planning and
parent conferences.
QUALIFICATIONS: Possession of or eligibility to obtain a valid Minnesota
Teacher’s License with deaf/hard of hearing Certification; certification in subject
area. Advanced sign communication required.
SALARY: $ 19.53-37.10/hour; $32,030-60,845/year depending on years of
experience and degree held.
