One-Stop Career Centers, Community Rehabilitation, Human Services and
Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals are invited to participate in the

Serving People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing A New PEPNet Online Resource
This webcast will highlight PEPNet’s online resource with information on
understanding hearing loss and its impact on communication and employment;
laws that assure non-discrimination, effective accommodations, communication
strategies and additional resources.
Josie Durkow, MSW, CT, is an Outreach Specialist for PEPNet-Northeast and
Director of the American Sign Language Program at Burlington County College.
She has worked in higher education serving students with hearing loss for
twenty years.
