Hurst, Texas, September, 2011 – Artisan Center Theater proudly presents
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT at its 150 seat
theater-in-the-round. The theater is located in the old historic Belaire
Plaza at 420 East Pipeline Road. The daytime box office is located at 418
East Pipeline Road. The show runs Friday October 7 through Saturday
November 12, 2011. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday,
Friday, and Saturday with 3 pm matinees on Saturdays 10/15, 10/22, 10/29,
11/5, 11/12/2011. Reserved seating tickets are $16.00 for adults, $14.00
for students and seniors, and $9.00 for children 12 and under. Monday
through Thursday tickets are $12.00. The box office number is 817-284-1200.

About JOSEPH:

Meet Jacob, a busy father of 12 sons. Meet Joseph, one of Jacob’s younger
sons who is always dreaming. When Joseph is given the coveted multicolored
coat, jealousy abounds, setting the stage for a very lively musical story.
Musical highlights include: “Jacob and Sons/Joseph’s Coat”, “Joseph’s
Dreams”, “One More Angel in Heaven”, “Close Every Door”, “Go, Go, Go
Joseph”, “A Pharaoh’s Story”, “Those Canaan Days”, “Benjamin Calypso”, “Any
Dream Will Do”.

The Director:

Dennis Canright has been an active participant both on stage and off at
Artisan for the last six seasons. Onstage Dennis was in SMOKE ON THE
MOUNTAIN, THE ARK, THE MUSIC MAN, I LOVE A PIANO, and THE FORGOTTEN CAROLS.
Dennis also directed OKLAHOMA, CINDERELLA, WEST SIDE STORY, TO KILL A
MOCKINGBIRD, CAMELOT and most recently HELLO, DOLLY for Artisan. Dennis
splits his time between Artisan Center Theater and his day job as Master
Carpenter for Uptown Players in Dallas, and is also the official Set
Designer for The Column Awards. A multiple Column Award nominee and winner,
Dennis was honored with several nominations this year and received the Best
Non-Equity Play Award for Artisan’s production of TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD!
