TSID Conference 2012
The 49th Annual TSID (Texas Society of Interpreters for the Deaf) Conference is quickly approaching!
The host chapter (AID/Austin Interpreters for the Deaf) is eagerly preparing for the about 700 or more attendees to merge upon Austin in June at the downtown Hilton, just steps from the infamous 6th Street. “Exploring the New Frontier of Interpreting” is the theme for both the Student Conference (June 20th and 21st) and the Regular Conference (June 21st through 24th).
Check out the website for the list of awesome presenters speaking on a myriad of subjects and genres to aimed at improving services to persons who are deaf/hard of hearing. The contracted hotel rate will soon end.
