Join Mike McMillion and Helene Cohen-Gilbert in guided conversations
that define and explore these concepts. Participate in insightful and
thought-provoking dialogue among peers in a professional yet casual
setting. Construct responses to often-asked questions regarding
perceived “roles” of the interpreter and the intent to appropriately
facilitate communication while not over-stepping ethical boundaries. (1
hr of pre-reading required)
Registration is $25.00 and participants must pre-pay. Payment will not
be accepted at the door. No partial CEUs can be awarded. Payment must
be received by May 21, 2012 in order to obtain pre-readings prior to
attending.
