TALAC Pre-Legislation Conference 2012 – Austin
Howdy!
You are invited to attend the Texas 83rd Legislative Session
Preparatory Training to be held Sunday, August 12 – Monday, August 13,
2012 at the Embassy Suites Austin –Central!
This unique opportunity is hosted by the Texas Advanced Leadership and
Advocacy Conference (TALAC) and is currently offered exclusively to
past TALAC participants!
Attendees will:
* Understand the importance of building a relationship with their local
and state Representatives
* Learn effective ways to influence Public Policies
* Find out how and when to provide personal input to House and Senate
interim committees
* Discover which organizations and agencies support the issues most
important to them, and how to work with those agencies and
organizations
* Have an opportunity to personally visit their Representatives’
offices, or the offices of Committee leaders, at the Texas State
Capitol building
No registration fee will be charged for this event!! Hotel
accommodations and most meals are provided, and attendees will be
reimbursed up to $200 in travel-related expenses.
