A new Everyday English ESL Class for Deaf People taught in ASL offered
at ACC! FREE!
The Adult Education Basic ESL program now offers a Everyday English ESL
course for Deaf students and will be taught in ASL. Our goal is to help
you learn the basic English skills you need to succeed in the pursuit
of your immediate goals. Our classes are for true beginners, including
those who have very limited reading and writing ability.
These are survival classes for Deaf students who primarily want to
learn English for everyday life, employment skills enhancement, and
assistance in situations such as obtaining housing, shopping, and
communicating at work. The classes will be taught in ASL.
The course will be offered at Riverside Campus and will be taught by a
Deaf faculty using ASL.
Time- Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:15pm to 9:15pm
Dates- August 21, 2012 to December 20, 2012
