The Story of an Unlikely Athlete
The Story of an Unlikely Athlete
Lance Allred is probably the last person you would expect to make it in professional sports. He grew up in a polygamist commune in Montana and struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorder. He is also deaf.
Despite a lot of setbacks, Lance finally realized his dream of playing in the NBA, becoming the first legally deaf player in the league.
“Longshot” is Lance’s personal story. Written by Lance, he is self-deprecating, witty and wholly original.
