Spooky Skedaddle 5K Festival and Fun Run

Benefiting the Texas School for the Deaf – October 27

Austin, TX – October 27, 2012 – Calling all ghouls, goblins and ghosts! Wear your costume and run, walk, cart wheel or skip your way through the first Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival, held at the Texas School for the Deaf – 1102 South Congress Avenue, on Saturday October 27, 2012.

Kids of all ages are encouraged to take part in the family-friendly festival, kids’ run and 5K, including safe trick-or-treating, a hot air balloon glow, face painting, mummy wrapping, local food booths, games and more!

Prizes will be awarded to the largest running groups. First place will receive a $300 tab at Freddie’s Place; Second place, $200 at Freddie’s Place; and a pizza party at Zax Restaurant & Bar for Third place.
