Agent Red and Sky Candy’s Land Without Evil – Austin

This is the final weekend for Agent Red and Sky Candy’s “Land Without Evil”, playing at the historic Stateside at the Paramount theatre- and for the deaf or hard of hearing, there are American Sign Language interpreted performances this Sunday afternoon and evening, December 16, 2012 at 3pm and 8pm.

“Land Without Evil” is a one of a kind aerial theater experience, adapted from Matthew Pallamary’s award-winning historical novel. The narrative follows the journey of a sixteen year-old boy who is caught between the traditional teachings of his father, a Shaman, and the teachings of the Mission in which the boy was raised.

Richly told through aerial acrobatics, dance, flow arts, video mapping and projection, an ASL choir and more, Land Without Evil is a treat for all the senses, an experience not to be missed!

The show plays at 8pm Friday, December 14th; 3pm and 8pm Saturday, December 15th; and 3pm and 8pm Sunday December 16th. The Stateside at the Paramount is located downtown at 719 Congress Avenue in Austin, Texas.

At the American Sign Language interpreted performance, two professional ASL interpreters will use their skills to convey the live theatrical performance. Select seating is available for those who wish to be closest to the ASL interpreters; interested patrons must request to be ticketed in these designated seats. Tickets are $20.
