LIVE MUSIC FOR A GOOD CAUSE – JUNE 15

PROCEEDS SUPPORT TEXAS SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF’S STUDENTS WITH MULTIPLE DISABILITIES

Austin, Texas – June 15, 2013 Rescheduled tonight – at Opal Divine’s-Penn Field from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. – is the 5th Annual SND Rocks live music benefit for Texas School for the Deaf’s (TSD) students with complex, multiple disabilities.

Tonight’s lineup, features: Don’t Tell Debbie, The Robert Mokry Group, and David Blake. There is no cover, and all ages are welcome.

A musician himself – and the event’s organizer, Assistant Principal of TSD’s Special Needs Department – Robert Solis, invites everyone to out to enjoy great music at a great Austin venue in support of a very worthy cause.
“This event supports our ‘fighters and survivors’ – our students with special needs at TSD – and is a really special event to me, says Solis. Several of the musicians here have participated with us each year and have connections to the school. We are grateful to everyone that helps us make this a successful event year after year.
We’re all friends, Solis adds, or friends of friends, who enjoy playing together. We have a lot of fun being a part of this great cause to give these special students an extra boost.”

Event proceeds will help provide critical tools and equipment needed to support students in SND classrooms at TSD.
