Aspen Camp is looking for a part-time or freelance Graphic Designer, with a focus on Aspen Camp’s promotions for events, programs, and community outreach. Work can be on-site or remote and will involved in a variety of projects. Pay will be per project/task.
As our graphic designer, you should be highly motivated to see projects to completion in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. We are looking for a great team player to join our team and help further develop our promotions. We are particularly interested in individuals possessing a quality oriented attitude, with attention to detail.
The focus for this developer is to play a critical role in providing quality promotions under the direction of the Outreach Coordinator. You should be able to think big picture and be goal oriented. Experience with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, Dreamweaver, and InDesign is a requirement. Ideally, you have solid work ethics and are on top of current trends and technology related to marketing. We also expect you to have knowledge of different web browsers and their limitations as well as experience with optimization of web based graphics and animations
Responsibilities
– Be responsible for executing solid designs that speak to creative and art direction provided.
– Create interactive design concepts within tight deadlines.
– Be a quick thinker, able to develop concepts and carry out solutions on a tight schedule.
– Provide creative input in brainstorming sessions for a variety of projects.
– Assist Outreach Coordinator in necessary research and preparation of presentation materials.
– Demonstrate creative design solutions within constraints of the online environment
– Ability to handle a high volume environment with rapid turnaround times and manage multiple tasks and project details
– And other duties as assigned

Aspen Camp is looking for a part-time or freelance Web Developer, with a focus on Aspen Camp’s website: www.aspencamp.org, giving.aspencamp.org, store.aspencamp.org, intranet.aspencamp.org, www.aspencampspices.org, and www.deafcamppicnic.org. Work can be on-site or remote. Pay will be per project/task.
As our web developer, you should be highly motivated to see projects to completion in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. We are particularly interested in individuals possessing a quality oriented attitude, with attention to detail.
The focus for this developer is to play a critical role in upgrading, enhancing, and maintaining our websites under the direction of the Outreach Coordinator. You should be able to think big picture and be goal oriented. Experience with WordPress and plug-ins is a requirement. Ideally, you’re familiar with large scale systems integration, are comfortable with data feeds and custom plug-in development/integration, and are happy to dive into documentation when faced with new technologies.
Responsibilities:
– Provide feedback on creative concepts, as it relates to technical feasibility
– Provide solutions in line with approved design specifications
– Provide estimates for development work to include analysis, programming and testing
– Analyze software problems and provide solutions to those problems
– Open and continuous communications with project managers and other members of team with regard to workload and project challenges
– Work with external partners for integration points as required
– Build, Customize and Install WordPress plug-ins as needed
– Update the website for front end changes
– Develop/Program additional site features
– Further develop the interactivity of Aspen Camp’s websites
– And other duties as assigned
