Some other signs in American Sign Language are similar to these ones, but many are rude words.

When you’re talking about someone’s identity, make sure you only use words they are OK with.

We all have a gender identity. If you have the privilege of congruency between your gender identity and sex assigned at birth you may not have to think much about it. This workshop encourages exploration of gender identity and language use in order to respectfully serve consumers of interpreting services.
