4 week introductory course to legal interpreting – Fort Worth

Come join Gwendolyn Bennett at Tarrant County College for a 4 week introductory course to legal interpreting!

When: February 10th – March 5th, 2015 T/TH 6:00 pm-8:00pm
Where: TCC Trinity River Campus  Fort Worth, TX.

Cost: $160.00 for the course (manual additional)

Gwen Bennett, MPA, NIC, SC:L, BEI III & CIC
Gwen Bennett holds the National Interpreter Certification (NIC) from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, and is certified is by the State of Texas as a Level III Sign Language Interpreter, and Certified Court Interpreter. She is also a candidate for the Specialist Certification: Legal from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. She holds a Master of Public Administration, Bachelor of Government & Politics, A.A.S. in Interpreting, and an A.A.S. in Legal Assisting. In addition to her 10 years’ experience as a legal assistant, over 8 years’ experience in city administration, and over 6 years’ experience in general business administration, Gwen has 16 years of professional interpreting experience, and currently works as a freelance interpreter, specializing in court/legal settings, and works as a video relay interpreter.
