Skills Development English to ASL- February 28, 2015 9-12p with Cris Nunn .3CEUs BEI and RID Approved

Need help with classifiers, use of space, or verb modulation? This workshop will look at the skills and competencies necessary to interpret from English to ASL. Participants will be given materials and opportunities to practice what they have learned in a safe and supportive environment.  Fluency in ASL and English required.

Presenter Bio:
Cris Nunn is a native deaf user of ASL with deaf parents. He graduated from Gallaudet University with a Master of Arts and is currently an Associate faculty/ASL teacher at Brookhaven Community College and Collin College. He is committed to improving the local DFW interpreting community and looks forward to working with everyone.
