North Central Texas Interpreters Meeting and Social!

Meeting is open to all deaf and interpreting community members. As a reminder meetings are conducted in ASL only. This is to respect our deaf members as well as future potential deaf members. If you need sign support during the meeting or know of someone that might please contact Cris Nunn at [email protected] he will help find a meeting buddy or two.

Voting by Proxy:
If you are not able to attend the meeting but you would like your voice/vote to be heard you can vote by proxy. Give your vote to a valid NCTID voting member and they can represent you.

From the by-laws- Proxy Votes for General Meeting or Special Meetings of NCTID may be assigned to and carried by voting members only, written notification must be given to the Secretary 3 business days before the meeting occurs.

Please notify Sara Pierce in writing at [email protected] 3 business days prior to confirm who will be your proxy.

Executive Board Nominations:
Nominations are being accepted for all board positions. Board members serve for a term of one year starting July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016

If you are interested in running for one of these positions please contact our current parliamentarian Valarie Houston [email protected]. She will be taking nominations for the board right up until we vote on May 30, 2015. Nominees must confirm their acceptance prior to the vote being conducted. Potential board candidates must be members of TSID or an affiliate chapter for a year prior to serving on the NCTID board. If you know of someone that may be a good match for a board position please submit their name and contact information we will reach out to them to see if they are interested in serving and confirm their nomination.
