BrainTease Event 1/9/16 – DFW

Join our panel of distinguished speakers as we delve into the nature of creativity and explore its application across a variety of fields. Topics include education, performance art, mental health, caregiving, social justice and more!

Six Speakers. 12 minutes each.

Welcome to BrainTease, a creative, engaging space for the exchange of ideas among a diverse group of people. With a specific focus on social justice, communication, creativity, and mental health, our events are the perfect fit for fun, funky, progressive people with an intellectual bent. You’ll leave with an expanded mind, a full heart, and lots to discuss.

Brain Tease is an outreach of The Gracious Mind, and is designed to give critical thinkers a space for dialogue, personal growth, and face-to-face networking. Each of our presenters are leaders, thinkers, innovators, and game changers in their respective fields, and they’ll be onhand after the event for questions, conversations, and to tell you more about their work. We’re bringing together a group of talented people who, in other circumstances, might not cross paths, and asking them to engage you in a compelling conversation about topics that are relevant in today’s world.

Imagine hearing six different speakers sharing their expertise in enjoyable, yet challenging, discourse every month. If you value progressive thought, seek greater understanding of the self and others, and crave intellectual exchange, BrainTease has a home for you. Venturing away from the stiff relationship between instructor and pupil, we aim to encourage a more dynamic, communal exchange between exceptional people – academic entertainment at its best!
