GARLAND OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

ANNOUNCED

FOR THURSDAY MAY 5, 2016 AT 11:30AM AT THE

ATRIUM 300 N. Fifth St., Garland, TEXAS 75040

(Garland, TX) – Mayor Douglas Athas has proclaimed Thursday May 5, 2016 as National Day of Prayer in Garland. Members of the community are invited to gather at 11:30 AM at the Atrium, 300 N. Fifth Street for the 15th consecutive observation of this day. This gathering continues the tradition of prayer that was begun in 1774 at the Continental Congress.

The interpreter will be provided. Please contact us to confirm. 

Our theme for the 2016 observance is Wake Up Garland emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually to return to the God of Fathers.
