Save the Date!

July 31, 2016 to August 6, 2016

Ready for the tribe war of the century? Eagles or Biffalos? Who’s your pick?

Get ready to go “Deep in the Heart of Texas”

Camp SIGN is a popular summer camp providing a barrier-free communication environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing from around the state. Regardless of their primary mode of communication, children are able to enjoy fun activities such as archery, swimming, water slides, and more. Our philosophy is to provide an environment of acceptance and encouragement through outdoor activities and fun.

There are three avenues for participation:

1. Camper – boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 15 who are deaf or hard of hearing

2. Counselor In Training (CIT) – a program for developing leadership skills and preparing boys and girls ages 16 and 17 (former campers) to become future camp counselors and leaders.

3. Counselor – Anyone 18 and older can become a counselor as long as they have previous summer camp experience.
