Diocese of Fort Worth Religious Interpreter Workshop – May 6, 2017

“Theology of Signs and Role of the Interpreter” – Msgr. Glenn Nelson, Director of the Deaf Apostolate of Rockford Illinois is presenting a workshop for interpreters and the deaf on May 6, 2017.  This workshop will help the participants learn some of the technical specialized signs unique to Catholic Theology and the meaning behind their construction.  It will also help inform the participant of the role of the interpreter of the Catholic Mass from a Catholic perspective. 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. .65 CEU’s

Although the workshop will present various theological teachings of the Catholic Faith, it is not intended to be “proselytizing event” and all may feel welcome to attend.

CEU’s have been approved.

There will be a Mass Practical – Theology of Signs and the Role of the Interpreter on May 7, 2017 – which is not a requirement of the workshop, but CEU’s can be earned at the Mass as well. 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. .2 CEU’s
