CSD of Texas-San Antonio hosted Tex-Mex Dinner

On July 21, 2006, CSD Senior Citizens hosted the Tex-Mex Dinner sponsored by Taco Cabana. A live auction and raffle drawing was part of the evening’s festivities. The purpose of the dinner was to raise funds towards the purchase of a new wheelchair accessible shuttle van for the senior citizens program. 143 people enjoyed the evening’s activities sharing laughter while socializing with old and new friends!

Many thanks to Southwest Airlines, San Antonio Jewelry, Austin Omni Hotel, Compton’s Lamp and Shades, Tapatio Springs Golf Resort, Bike World, Sprint, Embassy Suites, Texas Longhorns Coach Mack Brown, Chuck Baird, SportClips, and Carlos’s Stained Glass for their donated items used during the live auction.

We are very grateful to Nina and Mike Biviano, Vice President of Taco Cabana, for providing the dinner. Kudos to Mike and Nina!

Let’s give our hands waving and heart felt thanks to all of our deaf and hearing loss community for coming to this special event. You are the greatest fans of CSD of Texas-San Antonio!

Once again, for all of our community of San Antonio and committees pulling this together to raise funds!

Thank you.
