Global Deaf Muslim Fundraising Dinner – DFW
Assalamu Alaikum,
Everyone is invited to be part of our Global Deaf Muslim fundraising dinner that will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 5 PM at the Islamic Association of North Texas in Richardson. Insha’Allah.
This is going to be an amazing event and we hope you can join us and support the Global Deaf Muslim organization!!!
Admission for adults is $15 per person or $100 for a table of 8. All children under 12 years old will be free.
Theme:
Raise money to support the funding of a tremendous project: Converting the Holy Qu’ran into American Sign Language [ASL] to allow Deaf Muslims who use ASL to understand the words of Allah and the Islamic faith.
The Qu’ran in ASL project is one of the major projects Global Deaf Muslim is working on as a part of the main objective of the organization: increase the accessibility in Islamic education for Deaf Muslims worldwide.
