Deaf Tester Wanted for Fair Housing Rights – Austin
I am the Fair Housing Testing Coordinator for Austin Tenants’ Council (ATC) and I am recruiting for individuals interested in being housing testers in Austin & MSA. What a housing tester does is similar to “mystery shopping”. A tester will call an apartment complex and inquire about apartment vacancies, then document it on a report form. Testers are given stipends for their time and mileage reimbursement. Also, a housing tester contributes to a treating cause in civil rights.
