ASL Vagina Monologues 3/27/15 – Austin

If you are coming to Austin for the Deaf Expo this Saturday, be sure to see and enjoy the ASL Vagina Monologues on Friday night!!

The ASL Vagina Monologues will be offered this Friday, March 27, 2015 at ACC-Austin Community College-EVC-Eastview Campus.

The price of admission is only $5.00.

Food and drinks will be served, and we have a “special treat” free for all paid admissions!!

Doors open at 6:00 pm, show begins at 6:30 pm.

We have an amazing cast of ASL-fluent Women in all sizes, shapes, ages and colors!! Voice Interpreters provided. All ticket sales will be donated to SafePlace. We will also have booths with information from SafePlace, Waterloo Counseling Center, Planned Parenthood, plus other ACC Organizations such as DSA – Deaf Studies Association and AFU – ASL Friends United.

The Vagina Monologues are presented each year, to help promote awareness and prevention of domestic violence and all kinds of physical, mental, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse. We had to cancel the original play in February due to ACC closing from bad weather – now we are offering this performance with special permission from Eve Ensler, author of The Vagina Monologues.
