Have you ever been pulled over by a police officer? Arrested? Do you sometimes struggle to understand what the police are saying? Do you know what to do or what to say? Do you know your rights to communication access such as a sign language interpreter?

Come and learn about how to effectively interact with police officers.  It is very important to collaborate with police officers and reduce misconceptions! It is also important to be able to effectively communicate with police officers and know your rights to communication access. Clint Patterson (patrol sergeant) and Jacob Thornton (Deafness Resource Specialist) will present at this workshop.

We will provide sign language interpreters for this workshop.
