Volunteer Wanted at Deaf Nation Expo – DFW<\/strong><\/p>\n

DeafNation is next weekend, April 24, 2010 and is in need of volunteers from
\nthe DFW Deaf Community!<\/p>\n

Are you going to DeafNation? Great! Why not help out by volunteering while
\nyou are there?<\/p>\n

Volunteer any time between 8:30am to 4:30pm. You can work all day, half day,
\nor just an hour or two. Gather your friends and volunteer together.<\/p>\n

* Registration Desk: (Fluent Signer) Enter into computer the name and email
\naddress from people entering without pre-registration forms. We’ll need 4
\npeople at the registration desk.<\/p>\n

* Registration Desk: (Student) Collect registration forms, stamp hands, hand
\nout bags, smile and welcome.<\/p>\n

* Front Doors: Direct the crowds coming in and out. Ask crowd who has
\npre-registration and let them in the “fast” line. Direct those who have not
\npre-registered to the registration line.<\/p>\n

* Moonwalk\/Bouncehouse: (Students\/Signers) Keep an eye on the bounce house
\nin the kids’ area.<\/p>\n
