PETITION FOR CAPTIONING OF MOVIES IN LOCAL THEATERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

To: local theaters and Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is a petition requesting all Fort Worth theaters to provide open
\ncaptioned or closed captioned movies for Deaf and hard-of-hearing customers.
\nMany Deaf and hard-of-hearing people lack the equal access to Fort Worth
\ntheaters. Most of the time Deaf people have to drive to another town to find
\nmovies with captioning because they can not find one in Fort Worth. If more
\nFort Worth theaters would accommodate the Deaf community, benefits would
\nincrease for both sides. This would give the Deaf community equal access to
\nmovies like hearing people and bring more profits for movie theaters and the
\ncommunity surrounding the theater. If you agree with the statement above
\nplease sign this petition.<\/p>\n
