The purpose of SEC is to see Texas students give their life for the sake of
\nsharing Jesus Christ. More than a conference, SEC Twenty Ten is about
\nstudents taking another step in the direction of becoming a part of the
\ngreatest mission in the world. It\u2019s the same mission the disciples, Paul and
\nthe New Testament Church purposed in their hearts to achieve with their
\nlives. Paul wrote to encourage believers in Thessalonica \u201cFor not only has
\nthe word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but
\nyour faith in God has gone forth everywhere..\u201d (1 Thess. 1:8, ESV).<\/p>\n
