Martha Paul Phillips<\/strong><\/p>\n

May 7, 1920 – June 6, 2010<\/p>\n

Martha Phillips, age 90, of Dallas, formerly of Greenville, passed away in
\nthe afternoon hours of Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Kindred Hospital in
\nDallas. Ms. Phillips was born on May 7, 1920 in Monday, Texas to David
\nGranville and Ida Victoria Johnson Wilcoxson, they preceded her in death.
\nShe was married to Montie Philips who preceded her in death in 1989.<\/p>\n

Shortly after his passing she moved to the Deaf Action Center Apartments in
\nDallas where she was active in the senior programs and she served as the
\nsecretary and treasurer of the senior citizens group. She was also involved
\nin the Silent Friends Chapel Deaf Choir of the First Baptist Church of
\nDallas in the 1980\u2019s.<\/p>\n

She is survived by one daughter, Paula O\u2019Brian, and husband Roy, of
\nAmarillo; three grandchildren, Celia Mason, and husband Ray, of Post, Sheila
\nHiggens, and husband Daniel, of Dimmiett, TX, Edward O\u2019Brian, and wife,
\nBrandee, of Lubbock ; and nine great-grandchildren and one great-great
\ngrandchild.<\/p>\n

She was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters. Services for
\nMartha Phillips will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at
\nPeters Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Sanders officiating. Burial will
