Call for Interpreters<\/p>\n
The TSID 2007 Conference Committee and the TSID Board are pleased to announce Doug Dittfurth has been selected as Interpreter Coordinator for the Annual Conference. RID and Texas BEI Certified Interpreters who have at least CI and CT, CSC or Level III are given priority for selection. Interpreters must hold a minimum of CI, CT or Level II to be considered. <\/p>\n
Compensation Packages:<\/p>\n
Full-time Conference Interpreter (working at least 75% of the available conference interpreting hours):<\/p>\n
TSID will cover one-half of a double occupancy hotel room for 3-nights, Conference Combo Ticket and hours worked according to the TSID Interpreting Policy (see web-site under Constitution, Etc.\/Policies\/Interpreting Policy) and the following pay scale:<\/p>\n
CI and CT, CSC, Level III: $30.00\/hour
\nM:CSC, L:CSC, Level IV: $35.00\/hour
\nLevel V: $40.00\/hour <\/p>\n
Part-time Conference Interpreter
\n(working less than 75% of the available conference interpreting hours):
\nHours worked according to the TSID Interpreting Policy (see web-site under Constitution, Etc. \/ Policies \/ Interpreting Policy and the above pay scale.<\/p>\n
Those interested in applying should send an email of interest, indicating availability and resume (no more than 2 pages) which includes your current level of certification(s), previous conference interpreting experience, references and other applicable information. Selections will be based on need, availability, experience and setting. Documents sent as attachments should be in Word (.doc) or Rich Text Format (.rtf) only.<\/p>\n
