This study is the basis for my<br \/>\nDissertation in Social Policy and Planning.<\/p>\n<p>If you are deaf or hard of hearing, and currently employed, I invite you to<br \/>\ntake part in research examining how technology is associated with the<br \/>\nemployment of deaf and hard of hearing people. The purpose of this research<br \/>\nis to equip social policy makers, programs, educators, and funding sources<br \/>\nwith current data so they can continue providing valued resources to deaf<br \/>\nand hard of hearing communities. A link will take you to the web survey at<br \/>\nthe end of this message.<\/p>\n<p>Risks and Benefits of participating in the Study: The survey is confidential<br \/>\nand anonymous. There may be some questions that are uncomfortable to answer.<br \/>\nParticipants are free to skip those questions or exit the study at any time.<br \/>\nThe benefit of participating in this study is updating the body of knowledge<br \/>\nabout deaf and hard of hearing people in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Compensation: While some organizations have agreed to advertise this study,<br \/>\nall funding supporting the study is my own. This study relies on volunteers<br \/>\nto submit the survey.
