See below\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Message from space<\/p>\n<p>NASA Astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson sends an ASL message from the<br \/>\nInternational Space Station answering questions about her work on the<br \/>\nstation and how she learned sign language.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/station\/expeditions\/expedition24\/sign_in_space.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/station\/expeditions\/expedition24\/sign_in_space.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tracy Caldwell Dyson, NASA Astronaut fluent in American Sign Language, made<br \/>\nher launch to the ISS (International Space Station) on April 2, 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Note: NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell is fluent in a conversational<br \/>\n(intermediate) level of American Sign Language. So far, she is the only NASA<br \/>\nastronaut to claim this ability and we look forward to NASA making use of<br \/>\nher knowledge of ASL.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a quote from a recent news item:<\/p>\n<p>QUOTE:<\/p>\n<p>Caldwell has a PhD in chemistry.
