We offer a<br \/>\nreading diagnostic assessment and literacy instruction intervention for<br \/>\nstudents who are deaf or hard of hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Instructors are pre-service teachers of the deaf who are able to communicate<br \/>\nusing sign language.  Individualized instruction will be deternimed based on<br \/>\nthe results of the assessments.   Assessment includes word identification<br \/>\nskills, vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling and written language.<\/p>\n<p>Tutoring sessions run 50 minutes and are offered Monday, Wednesday and<br \/>\nFriday.  Fees are assessed on a sliding fee schedule to make the services<br \/>\naffordable for every family.
