Literacy and Language Learning Clinic For Hard of Hearing Students<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tutoring sessions in the areas of language and literacy learning are offered
\nfor school-aged children who are deaf or hard of hearing. We offer a
\nreading diagnostic assessment and literacy instruction intervention for
\nstudents who are deaf or hard of hearing.<\/p>\n

Instructors are pre-service teachers of the deaf who are able to communicate
\nusing sign language. Individualized instruction will be deternimed based on
\nthe results of the assessments. Assessment includes word identification
\nskills, vocabulary, reading comprehension, spelling and written language.<\/p>\n

Tutoring sessions run 50 minutes and are offered Monday, Wednesday and
\nFriday. Fees are assessed on a sliding fee schedule to make the services
\naffordable for every family. Scholarships are available.<\/p>\n
