An Opportunity to Participate: Fort Worth City Council Meeting, September
\n14, 2010, 7:00 PM<\/strong><\/p>\n

I have been asked to share my experiences as a Commissioner on the Fort
\nWorth Human Relations Commission during the next City Council meeting on
\nTuesday, September 14 at 7:00 PM. Because I will be communicating in
\nAmerican Sign Language with an Interpreter voicing for me, I will need more
\ntime than the 3 minutes allowed for Citizen Presentations. To be allowed 10
\nminutes to speak, I will need to show that I am representing at least 10
\npeople, who will need to stand when Mayor Mike Moncrief ask for
\nconfirmation. Standing with others is also an opportunity to participate
\nin local government, and I offer this opportunity to you.<\/p>\n
