ASL-interpreted shows: Frankenstein<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trouble Puppet Theater Co. is offering deaf and hard-of-hearing patrons a
\n20% discount on tickets to our upcoming production Frankenstein: The Trouble
\nPuppet Show, which runs 9\/16 – 10\/3 at Salvage Vanguard Theater.<\/p>\n

We will have an ASL interpreter at the shows on 9\/23 and 9\/30.<\/p>\n

Frankenstein: The Trouble Puppet Show is a dark, funny, smart, spooky work
\nof puppet theater, adapted from Mary Shelley\u2019s classic novel by Trouble
\nPuppet\u2019s Artistic Director, Connor Hopkins. Influenced by the vast array of
\nprevious adaptations and incorporating a mix of history and natural
\nphilosophy, Trouble Puppet spins a tale of steampunk science that escapes
\nfrom an abandoned Romanian asylum and chases all the way to the French
\nRevolution.<\/p>\n

\nacclaim in 2009 for The Jungle, performs their adaptation of the
\nFrankenstein story (for grownups and children 12+) at SVT, Sept. 16\u2013Oct. 3,
\n2010. Puppet design and direction by TPTC Artistic Director Connor Hopkins.

Recognition Trouble Puppet\u2019s 2008 production of Frankenstein was one of only
\nthree shows nominated for the B. Iden Payne\u2019s award for Outstanding
\nTheatrical Event. Trouble Puppet\u2019s The Jungle was included on 3 out of 4
\n\u201cBest of 2009\u201d theater lists in the Austin Chronicle. The Austin Critics\u2019
\nTable nominated The Jungle for Best Production, Drama, and for Best Scenic
\nDesign. Also, The Austin Examiner nominated the show for Best New Play
\nWritten by an Austinite and for Special Technical Achievement: Puppet
\nDesign. And the B. Iden Payne Committee nominated The Jungle for Outstanding
