Those wishing to discuss the art with the artists are encouraged to attend this opening and take part in an open conversation regarding the show. Jessica Jacobs will offer print signings/sales for Eternal Love (Sign Language), Silence (Deaf), Unity, and Blessings…her more known pieces.

This exhibition combines sculptures, paintings, photos and more. All haunting images of real life…a world of truth, confusion, beauty, and a stark and sometimes harshly painful reality. The pieces derive from an inner silence rooted in places of serenity, sadness, and courage as well as those of intense power and strength as the artists attempt to put to task their feelings about life in today’s society.

This show portrays the struggle to survive, and the hope that shines through even the darkest cloud. The catalyst at the heart of many of the pieces are a severe brain trauma, a sense of isolation due to a severe/profound hearing loss, and various forms of depression.

The event is free and open to the public. Please invite friends and family to attend. I hope to see you all and lots of people there.

To learn more about the location go to www.bookworldcafe.com. The bookstore is wireless and will have areas to relax if you wish to come earlier and check out the bookstore itself.

On a special note: For anyone who has dealt with brain trauma, or know of someone who has, please share this with them as Jessica’s portion of the exhibit will focus on that as well as hearing loss.

Due to circumstances, no alcohol permitted. Please adhere to this.

——————————————————————————-
To subscribe or unsubscribe, just follow the link: http://newsletter.deafnetwork.com and enter your email address.

Get your own Sidekick2 at Garth Wireless today: Go to http://www.garthwireless.com !

BETTER IP RELAY – EVERYWHERE! i711.com makes all your relay calls better.
